BASHEER KHAN, President and CEO

Since starting his first company before the age of 15, Basheer has been an entrepreneur and visionary for growth of companies in various industries across the globe.  Naturally occupying the leadership chair in every organization he has been a part of, Basheer attributes his success at growing companies to finding and retaining the top talent of people who become integral to the growth of any of his companies.

His previous agency experience saw Basheer transform an organization into an industry force within the fields of Engineering, Manufacturing, Information Technology, Life Sciences, and Management. 

Basheer is a graduate of the University of Akron, in Ohio, where he earned his MBA.  Basheer also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from AMU in India.

JOHN MORIN, Managing Director

John Morin is the Managing Director of PentaCan’s Hamilton Office and the Head of the Life Sciences group.  He joined the company in 2008.  He formerly held the post of Vice President of Life Sciences at one of Canada’s largest independently owned recruitment agencies.  Prior to his experience as a recruiter he had a successful career in banking.

John’s primary focus in the company is to manage the team at PentaCan’s Hamilton Office as well as being PentaCan’s Subject Matter Expert in Life Sciences.

John holds an Honours Business Administration degree majoring in Finance from the University of Windsor.

REEM KHAN, Managing Director

Initially hired as a Consultant when she joined the company in 2006, Reem boasts having rapidly been promoted through the ranks to attain her most recent position as Managing Director at PentaCan’s Head Office. 

As the company’s resident process improvement specialist and an integral policy implementation agent, Reem’s impact on change on an organization-wide level is unparalleled.  Her previous recruiting experience which was focused largely in the areas of Engineering and Manufacturing has been an ongoing source of internal knowledge-base building and ongoing training expertise with new employees.

Reem earned her Bachelor of Commerce degree from Concordia University in Montreal, where she majored in Human Resource Management.

SAL GIRMENIA, Manager

Sal Girmenia has a proven track record and over ten years of expertise in the recruiting industry. He is well versed in many technologies, environments and positions, ranging from junior levels to senior management, on a contractual and permanent basis, and within a variety of industries and sectors.  

Sal Girmenia’s expertise ranges from preparation of RFI’s and RFP’s for organizations that are looking to add preferred vendors.  He is experienced in conducting presentations to prospective clients individually and as a group, providing training on a one-on-one basis and a seminar-type setting including training on interviewing techniques and resume-writing. Sal also has an excellent track record of fulfilling his client’s recruitment needs in an efficient and timely manner for the mutual benefit of both the clients and the candidates.

Sal has received various achievement and recognition awards within the industry.
